DOWN EAST SENIORS CLUB

The Down East Seniors Club held their Sept. 9 meeting at the Blind Center of North Carolina in Washington. President Stewart Rumley led the meeting. Jim Hackney played for the singing of “God Bless America” and Charlie Mike Smith gave the invocation. Dick Robinson, Dick Paul, Mark Eakes and John Tunstall provided humor.

President Rumley called upon the members to relate interesting experiences that involved them and people they knew. Most of the stories were humorous; some were embarrassing. There were a wide variety of situations described during this enjoyable session.

Bill Cheshire won the 50/50 drawing.
