Mrs. Blonnie Hemby Belgrave, 75, of Queens, N.Y., and formerly of Edward, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007, in New York.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Victor Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Roberson-Holliday Cemetery.
Mrs. Belgrave was born in Beaufort County on May 13, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Johnnie and Cynthia Hemby. She was a graduate of the former S.W. Snowden High School.
Survivors include one daughter, Bettie Hemby of Queens, N.Y.; one son, Arthur Hemby of Queens, N.Y.; one grandchild and one brother, Thomas Hemby of Palapka, Fla.
The family will receive friends at the home of her niece, Dorothy Moore, 4556 Bonnerton Road, Edward.
