S.W. SNOWDEN SCHOOL FIRE SAFETY: The students in Stacia Abbe’s and Catherine Brown’s pre-kindergarten class at S.W. Snowden in Aurora had two very important visitors on Oct. 8. The students have been learning about fire prevention and had learned the true story of “Smokey Bear.” They were elated when “Smokey Bear” and Ranger Perry came to visit their classroom. Perry went over all the ways they could prevent a forest fire, as well as how to react if they are involved in a home fire.
