CHOCOWINITY — Chocowinity Primary School students and staff joined together the week of Oct. 19-23 to take a stand against bullying.

Each day featured a different theme. On Monday, CPS opted to “Shade Out Bullying” by wearing sunglasses. Tuesday was “Sock It to Bullying” day, with everyone encouraged to wear crazy, colorful socks. The school family decided to “Unite Against Bullying” by wearing orange on Wednesday, and they chose to “Team Up Against Bullying” by wearing their favorite sports team shirt or jersey Thursday. Friday was “Put a Lid on Bullying” day and those participating were invited to wear a hat or cap to school.

The activities were coordinated by school counselor Leslea Jones.
