Mr. William “Bill” Snell

Mr. William Earl “Bill” Snell, age 67, a resident of Belhaven, died Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice in Greenville.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Belhaven conducted by Father Jim Lupton.

Bill was born in Beaufort County on June 24, 1948. He was the son of the late Eugene Herbert Snell and Genevieve Joyce Norfleet Snell.

Bill was a retired plumber. He loved the group, “The Grateful Dead.” In his spare time, he loved to travel.

Bill is survived by two daughters, Pam Scates and her husband, Kenny of Montross, Va., Jessica Pruitt and her husband, Steve and their daughter, Megan all of Williamsburg, Va.; two sisters, Tina Snell and her partner, Brenda Holleman and their daughters, Caroline and Austyn Holleman all of Raleigh, Beth Snell of Palm Springs, CA and his adopted family, Mary Costulis, Alfredo and Martha Ramirez and their children, who called him “Grandpa”, Jose and Austin Ramirez all of Belhaven.

The family received friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, November 6, 2015 at Paul Funeral Home in Belhaven.
