S.W. SNOWDEN NUTRITIOUS MEALS: Aurora Methodist Church, through Eagle’s Wings Food Bank, provided 40 children at S.W. Snowden with nutritious meals for the weekend. The Food Bank of the Albemarle in Elizabeth City helps with providing two proteins, two fruits, two juices, two cereals and two milks. The Aurora church adds extra snacks. Members of the church pack the food items gathered into bags and deliver them to SWS. Students who are eligible receive a backpack full of food each week during the school year.
