KINDNESS: First graders from Roxanne Beeman’s, Monica Davis’, Heather Elliott’s and Jackie Olson’s classrooms stand around their Kindness Tree. As part of Eastern Elementary’s conscious discipline plan, the teachers and students in Pod 10 celebrate acts of kindness daily. The children focus on being supportive of their school family members. The children never know when an act of kindness will be recognized. As the months change, so will the colors of the leaves.
