Can’t stop the beat at John Small Elementary

JOHN SMALL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL LEARNING THE BEAT: Students in Ms. Chelsea Davis' music class at John Small Elementary have been bucket drumming. Students are learning how to play rhythms, how to play with a steady beat and how to play together. They are also engaged in polyrhythms, which is when they are playing different rhythms at the same time. Students are enjoying their time playing the buckets and learning different beats and grooves.
