Mrs. Frances Ann Harmon Hardy, age 71, a resident of 2920 Williams Rd., Greenville, NC died Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Vidant Medical Center.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2015 at Oakdale Cemetery of Washington, officiated by Pastor Daylon Mooneyham.
Mrs. Hardy was born in Beaufort County on August 1, 1944, daughter of the late Frank Lee Harmon and the late Bertha Mae Tetterton Harmon. She resided in the Craven County area for many years before moving to Red Oak Assisted Living of Greenville. Mrs. Hardy attended Vanceboro Holiness Church and Greenville Church of God. She was an exceptional mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was a blessing to all her family with her steadfast faith in her Savior until he called her home to her reward.
Survivors include her children: Julie Hardy Sutley (Robert) of Cove City; Michael Hardy of Washington and Debbie Hardy Conley of New Bern; two sisters: Edna Harmon Goins of Lake Lure and Doris Tetterton Boyd of Greenville; six grandchildren: Sheri White (Michael), Nichole Brinkley, Kelsey Miller, Cody Banks, Corey Conley and Alan Hardy; two step-grandchildren: Kyle Sutley and Ashley Sutley and six great-grandchildren: Kayla Brinkley, Charlie Swindell, Kiera Morgan, Antonio “Jr” Morgan, Justin T. Flowers and Shae L. Flowers. She was predeceased by a brother: Bobby Lee Harmon and a step-grandson: Learney “Jr” Jones.
