Department of Social Services receives donations for Christmas Cheer program

HYDE COUNTY TOYS FOR TOTS: The Junior Beta Club from Mattamuskeet Middle School paid a visit to the Hyde County Department of Social Services to donate toys for the department’s Toys for Tots drive, which was held as part of DSS’s Christmas Cheer program.

TOYS FOR TOTS: The Junior Beta Club from Mattamuskeet Middle School paid a visit to the Hyde County Department of Social Services to donate toys for the department’s Toys for Tots drive, which was held as part of DSS’s Christmas Cheer program.

HYDE COUNTY CHRISTMAS CHEER: The Men’s Club located within the Hyde County Department of Corrections donated $900 to Hyde County Department of Social Services in support of their Christmas Cheer program, which provides Christmas gifts to children in need. Staff members Mavis Whitfield and Rosilita Gibbs presented the check to new Hyde County Director of Social Services Laurie Potter. Potter and her staff would like to thank the citizens of Hyde County for their many contributions and support.
