Mrs. Beverly Mae Mollema Sheppard, age 81, a resident of Grassy Ridge, died Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Autumnfield Assisted Care Facility.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Pike Road Church of Christ.

Mrs. Sheppard was born in Chandler, Minnesota on November 4, 1934 to the late Henry Mollema and Cornelia Moret Mollema. She married Harold Ray Sheppard Sr. who preceded her in death. Mrs. Sheppard was a loving wife and mother, a caring friend and neighbor, and a dedicated worker. She loved to cook, play piano and sing. She especially loved hymns and Country classics.

Survivors include her two children, Cherlyn E. Gardner of New Bern, Harold Ray Sheppard Jr. of Pantego, a nephew, Donavan Oosterhuis, and a niece Suzanne Credle.
