Essie Pearl Modlin Scott, 91, of Jamesville, died Sunday, January 17, 2016, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Gospel Light Church of Christ with Jim Cooper, Bob Moulden and Pete Kunkle officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth, and other times at the residence of her daughter Sheila.
