- News Section Design, third place, for the Aug. 20-21, 2015 editions of the Washington Daily News.
- Best Niche Publication, second and third places, for editions of Washington the Magazine. The July/August transportation-themed “Ways to Go” edition took second place, while “The Great Outdoors,” about Beaufort County’s outdoor experience, won third place.
Daily News publisher Ashley Vansant credited the newsroom staff for the effort that went into the award winners, as well as “other quality work produced last year.”
“I look forward to celebrating some big wins next year. With the talent in our newsroom, we are primed for an even stronger finish,” Vansant said.
