Robert A. “Bob” Jones, 74, of Wilson, died Friday, March 4, 2016. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at 11 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church.

Jones was a principal for 24 years at Jamesville High school in Martin County, and a computer instructor for Martin County Community College, Williamston, and Wilson Community College for 10 years, as well as a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his sons, Chris Jones of West Grove, PA, Doug Jones (Michele) of Hampstead, Gregory Cameron Appert (Michele) of Raleigh; daughters, Amy Appert Windley (John) of Knoxville, TN, Betsy Appert Hamilton (David) of Cary; grandchildren, Doug, Ashley, Hannah and Drew Jones, Owen and Samuel Windley, Walker and Hayden Elizabeth Hamilton and Charlie Appert; brothers, Bill Jones (Dee) of Little Plymouth, VA, and Ken Jones (Mary) of Layton, UT.

The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive N, Wilson, NC, 27896, on Monday, from 7-8:30 p.m..
