To the Editor:

After having read the paid advertisement in the March 5-6, 2016 paper, I would like to make a personal statement about the hospital situation. I know a lot of these people and I know they all want what is best for the town and the whole community. Our state and area has benefitted greatly from the military. It seems to me, if nothing else, we should put every effort into making this project work for the benefit of all. We all owe it to the vast number of wounded warriors who fought for us while we were at home being protected by them. This could be the very thing needed to serve them and move our community into a positive position. I see the bonus as the much-needed emergency room.

This can only happen by all of us working together on how to make it all work. Our love for each other and our communities in our area should be our driving force. This is a great opportunity. Let us not miss out on our chance to make this happen.
