Mr. Vernon C. Canady, a resident of 1135 Swindell Road, Pantego, died March 9, 2016 at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, March 13, 2016 at the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home in Belhaven. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30-3:00 PM prior to the service on Sunday at Paul Funeral Home in Belhaven.
