Speaker, musician visits Ed Tech students

CAROLINE HUDSON | DAILY NEWS RISING ABOVE: Beaufort County Ed Tech Center welcomed Dr. Nashon Walker Friday afternoon, thanks to Everett Hershey, a Bright Futures Beaufort County site council member. Walker is a speaker and music artist, as well as the founder of Empowerment Center Worldwide Inc., HoodRISE Golden Rule Leadership Network and DreamSound Global Records. He spoke to the Ed Tech students about making the best out of negative situations and not letting those situations affect their lives. Walker told the students about his background and performed some of his music.
