MATTIE Arts Center drawing workshop, 6-8 p.m., old courthouse, Swan Quarter.

St. Paddy’s Day parade on Ocracoke, 1 p.m. at the Ocracoke gas station. Angel the Leprechaun is judging floats.

Better eating class at Belhaven Seniors’ Center, 10 a.m. Instructor Peggy Bonner. 274 E. Main St., Belhaven.

Seniors’ exercise class with instructor Peggy Bonner every Tuesday and Thursday at the Belhaven Seniors’ Center, 274 E. Main St., Belhaven, at 10:30 a.m. The class is free, but small donations per class visit are appreciated. Call 252-943-2992 for more information.

“Growing A Fit Community” program, every Tuesday and Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., 150 Swamp Road, Pantego. Healthy living includes discussion of social issues, including environmental, Spanish and English teaching, juicing, line dancing and exercise classes. All interested seniors, call 252-943-3822.

 

SATURDAY, MARCH 19

BINGO at Pinetown Ruritan Club, from 6-9 p.m.

Riverside Gospel Sing at 7 p.m. every Saturday night, Riverside Campgrounds, N.C. Highway 45 North, Ponzer. Free admission. Includes snack bar with hotdogs, popcorn, candy and drinks. Pancake and sausage breakfast from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Pantego Ruritan Club (every third Saturday of the month). All you can eat; donations accepted. All money goes to the Pantego Scholarship Fund.

West Belhaven Church of Christ presents, “Jesus Saves,” an Easter musical, at 7:30 p.m., 1080 W. Main St., Belhaven. Admission is free. The cast and choir will portray in drama and song the last days of Jesus’ life on Earth.
