LIFE STORIES: Local artist Jan Miles is working on a mural at Mi Amor’s Pizzeria in Chocowinity, depicting scenes from the life of Mexico native Pedro Millan, who owns the pizzeria with his wife, Claudia. Miles is using old family photos to show scenes including Millan’s mother cooking by the fire and his late father. The mural is still in progress and will be complete in another week or two.
