PATRICIA JORDAN 

Mrs. Patricia Ann Baynor Jordan, age 72, a resident of Hwy 32 North, Washington, died Monday, April 4, 2016.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Everetts Church of Christ, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 pm conducted by Sam Loveall and Dennis R. Davis.

The following will serve as honorary pallbearers: Donald Cutler, Lindsay Sikes, Gene Jordan and Murrell Jordan.

Mrs. Jordan was born in Beaufort County on July 18, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Hubert Nicholson Baynor and Evelyn Louise Woolard Baynor. Mrs. Jordan was a graduate of Bath High School. She had worked at Orkin, Sampson Shirt Factory and Weyerhaeuser over the years. Mrs. Jordan was a member of the Everetts Church of Christ.

She sang in the choir and served with the Ladies’ Aide as long as her health permitted. In her spare time, Mrs. Jordan loved being involved in outdoor activities.

On July 3, 1981, Mrs. Jordan was married to Earl Ray Jordan, who preceded her in death June 28, 2014.

Mrs. Jordan is survived by two sisters, Selma Baynor Braddy and late husband, George of Washington, Marlys Baynor Loveall and husband, Sam of Garner, N.C.; nephews and nieces, Galen Braddy, Stephen Braddy, Christopher Braddy, Evan Johnson, Susan LaRae Jordan, Edward Jordan, Patricia Poczontek, Kurt Jordan, Holly Jordan, Russell Jordan, Steve Daniels, Terry Daniels, Mike Daniels; great nephews and great nieces, Zachary Jordan, Nicholas Jordan, Porter Braddy, Gage Braddy, Lucas Braddy, Kristine Blake Braddy, Katie Braddy, Eve Lupton, Elizabeth Upton, Monica Upton, Sydney Jordan, Isaiah Jordan and Terra Upton; and brothers-in-law, Murrell Jordan and wife, Lavetta and Lowell Jordan and wife, Debra, all of Pinetown.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Jordan was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Ruby Mae Daniels and a brother-in-law, George Braddy.
