Douglas Monroe Butt, 86, of 6810 N. C. Highway 94, Fairfield, died Friday night, April 8, 2016, at Cross Creek Health Care Center in Swan Quarter where he had recently been as a patient. A funeral is planned for 11 a.m. Monday at the family plot at Soule Cemetery. Rev. Jerald Craddock will officiate followed by Masonic Graveside services. The family will visit with friends following the service.
