To the Editor,

Misters Richardson, Alligood and Waters and Ms. Radcliffe are all climbing the wrong tree. Fund balances should be about dollars not percentages. Five million dollars is more than adequate for Beaufort County and coincidentally close to the 8 percent state mandate. Rather than hold taxpayers’ money, the county can always borrow in an emergency.
