P.S. JONES MIDDLE SCHOOL
BATTLE OF THE BOOKS: The P.S. Jones Middle School Battle of the Books team competed in the regional competition on April 12 and finished in third place. Ten teams in the region competed in the literary quiz bowl, where teams answer questions from 27 books determined yearly by the North Carolina School Library Association. Competing were Mary Emma Holscher, Emma Tucker, Brylee Phillips, Lindsay Swain, Jordan Hambric, Elizabeth Williams, Yutaka Bell, Takahia Bell, Ashley Woolard, Davina Morris, Ariana Jenkins, Aracely Medina, Savannah O’Brien, Meghan Toften, Ashley Cutler and Nijah Pope.
