Pig Pickin’ for a Cause raises money for teen parents

JANAE JOHNSON HIGHER HEIGHTS: Higher Heights Human Services held its second annual Pig Pickin’ for a Cause Saturday night at St. Clair Ranch. The event included food, music and an auction for clothes, gifts and cakes. Funds raised from the Pig Pickin’ went to Higher Heights, which is an organization founded by Loretta Ebison that assists teen parents in Beaufort County, helping them finish high school and preventing secondary pregnancies.
