Third-graders host special guests

Chocowinity Primary School’s third-grade classes hosted special guests during their recent “Coffee with Cops” event. Those guests discussed a variety of topics, including the importance of being a good student and citizen, what to do if someone approached students offering them a bad choice and how students can help their school/community. Among those attending were representatives of the district attorney’s office, court counselors, Chocowinity Police Department, Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office and the North Carolina Highway Patrol.
