The A to Z Doll Club met May 23 at the home of Diana Cates’ parents in Chocowinity. Those attending included Diana, Martha Robbins, Shirley Woolard, Betty Ross, Catherine Fulford, Marti Buchanan, Joyce Carawan, Patricia Harris, Marguerite Ferry and Martha Seighman.
The club furnished the meat, prepared by Diana, and members brought covered dishes. Diana and husband Roger furnished strawberry ice cream to go with Betty’s delicious chocolate cake.
President Diana opened the meeting and Martha R. asked the blessing. Treasurer Shirley gave her report and secretary Martha S. read the April minutes.
Participants in Show and Tell included Shirley, Joyce, Marguerite, Marti, Martha R., Patricia, Betty and Donna.
Diana announced the next meeting will be June 27 at the China Bay Restaurant (in the old Cliff’s) and adjourned the meeting.
