Hopscotch and Slinky

Two gorgeous girls — stunningly regal in their American shorthair, jet black, silky coats. Hopscotch is a black-and-white tuxedo, and Slinky is all black. The first and very obvious feature are their huge golden eyes, and of course, their friendly personalities. At 8 months old, these two beautiful cats are slim and agile. They will be wonderful pets and companions in a variety of good, loving forever home(s).

Come in and meet Hopscotch and Slinky; they’re available through the following Saturday at the shelter, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, Washington. The shelter is open to the public Mondays through Fridays, from 1-5:30 p.m., and Saturdays, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

During the month of June, cats and kittens at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility will have an adoption fee of $35. This fee includes spaying/neutering, the first round of shots, a microchip and worming for each feline adopted. This is a reduced fee with the remainder paid by the Humane Society of Beaufort County. Don’t delay! This offer is in effect June 1-30. For questions, please call 252-946-1591.

Slinky is not pictured here.

Charlie

An all-around great fellow, that’s our Charlie. This approximately 1-year-old bully/terrier-mix has a quiet, low key and calm nature. Charlie’s a medium-size, basically all white dog, with polka-dotted ears that make him one adorable dog. Very sweet and loving affection, Charlie is just a little scared at the shelter at times, but when tested with another dog, he did very well.

Charlie will need owner(s) willing to give him love, attention, exercise in a fenced area or on leash and basic obedience training. Charlie deserves a good, loving forever home where he can be a faithful companion and pet.

The shelter is open to the public Mondays through Fridays, from 1-5:30 p.m., and Saturdays, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
