Inner Banks Outfitters took almost 20 participants on a kayak trip to honor cancer survivors and their loved ones. Cancer survivors, some finished with and others undergoing treatment, came along as part of the event organized with Vidant Beaufort Hospital. A handful of hospital staff kayaked, as did others in memory of loved ones. Inner Banks owner Liane Harsh said she hopes to hold the event again, and Vidant expressed interest in holding it annually.
