Mal Steehler, aka “Bikeman,” was a resident of Washington. After moving here in 1991 from Las Vegas, NV, he became known locally for his love of selling and repairing bikes at the flea market. Mal had recently retired from Averitt Express. He is survived by his wife Catherine; his children Brian Steehler, Steven Steehler, Brent Steehler, Heather Garcia and Sabrina Witham; his 13 grandchildren and his 3 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 18, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Hillside Funeral Service & Cremations. Hillside Funeral Service & Cremations, 4500 Hwy 264 E, Washington, has been given the honor of being entrusted with serving the Steehler family.
