Please mark your calendar for the 2016 Blackland Farm Managers Tour. You don’t want to miss this event.

It will be held Wednesday, Aug. 3, at Middle Creek Farms, 396 White Plains Road, Engelhard.

Scheduled speakers are Dr. Ron Heiniger, Dr. Jim Dunphy, Dr. Carl Crozier, Dr. Dominic Reisig, Dr. Wes Everman, Dr. Chad Poole, Scott Tilley and more.

Schedule: 

• 7-8 a.m. – Registration, breakfast, visit with vendors
• 8-9 a.m. – Plot tours (Session #1)
• 9-9:30 a.m. – Break
• 9:30-10:30 a.m. – Plot tours (Session #2)
• 10:30-11 a.m. – Break
• 11-noon – Plot tours (Session #3)
• Noon-12:30 p.m. – Break
• 1 p.m. – Welcome, Introduction from the BFMA, Dr. Chad Lee (Grain Crops Extension Agronomist at the University of Kentucky)
• 2 p.m. – Door prizes
• 2:30 p.m. – Ice cream & afternoon educational sessions

Lunch will be served from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
