Janice Edith Ann Keel Ormond, age 77, a resident of Greenville, NC, died Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Vidant Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 307 Martinsborough Rd., Greenville, NC 27858, and will be officiated by Bishop Daren Day. Burial will follow in Pamlico Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Ormond was born in Beaufort County on July 24, 1939 to the late Mary Ellen Keel Clark. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Sue Ormond Lee and husband David Lee; two grandchildren, Brent Johnson and wife Stephanie, Brittany Johnson; three great-grandchildren, Brendon, Hayden and Kennedy; a lifetime companion, Pop Langdale; a sister, Edna Clements of Raleigh; several nieces and nephews; and a four-legged grandson, Roosevelt.
