On July 21, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a larceny from a residence on Tuscarora Avenue in Bath. The sheriff’s office began an investigation that included conducting interviews of the victim and witnesses and collecting evidence in the case.

As a result of those interviews and the evidence gathered, Investigator Jason Hill applied for and obtained warrants charging Patrick Raymond Small, 37, of Market Street in Washington, with one count of felony larceny and three counts of obtaining property by false pretense.

On Tuesday, Patrick Raymond Small was arrested by the Washington Police Department and was held in the Beaufort County Detention Center on a total of a $10,000 secured bond.
