From the Washington-Beaufort County Board of Realtors

On Aug. 3, the North Carolina Estuarium provided the perfect setting for the Washington-Beaufort County Board of Realtors, who assembled together for a Pick ’N Pack BBQ sponsored by the North Carolina Realtors Political Action Committee. This recognition and celebration came after WBCBR surpassed every Board of Realtors in the state for political action contributions to RPAC at an impressive 86-percent participation.

President Bobby Clark commends all participating members who made this recognition as outstanding Board of Realtors in the entire state for Political Action Contributions to RPAC possible. It was indeed an honor and an indication of our support of the candidates who support the issues that are important to real estate.

Since 1969, the Realtors Political Action Committee has promoted the election of pro-realtor candidates across the United States. The purpose of RPAC is clear: realtors raise and spend money to elect candidates who understand and support their interests. The money to accomplish this comes from voluntary contributions made by realtors. These are not members’ dues — this is money given freely by realtors in recognition of how important campaign fundraising is to the political process. RPAC doesn’t buy votes. RPAC enables realtors to support candidates who support the issues that are important to their profession and livelihood.
