Ridgewood residents give back

Ridgewood recently had a group of residents make shoebox care packages for the children of Armenia. The residents donated money, and Ridgewood matched their donation, totaling $500 worth of shoeboxes. They made 20 boxes, which include items such as toys, gloves, hats, toiletries and books. The Armenian children are impoverished and vulnerable. This was through the United Methodist Church N.C. Conference. The residents enjoyed making the boxes so much, and they wrote letters to the children and are eagerly waiting to hear back from them.
