Washington resident and artist Sandra Cherry Jones is sharing her talent with the public by painting designs on the city’s electrical boxes, as part of a beautification project. Jones brought all of her own supplies to complete the work. Located outside of the Washington-Beaufort County Chamber of Commerce/Visitor Center, this electrical box will feature scenes of North Carolina lighthouses. Jones said she thinks her artwork will be a positive addition to the place she calls home.
