Mary Lou Coleman, 65, died Sunday, June 26, 2011.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at the Letchworth Funeral Home Chapel in Scotland Neck. The Rev. Reece Jones will be presiding.

Mary Lou was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was the bookkeeper for Coleman Automotive in Scotland Neck.

Mary Lou is survived by her husband, George Lee “G.L.” Coleman Jr.; daughters, Cindy Hales Henson and husband Tom of Boone and Erica Coleman McAdoo and husband Michael of Raleigh; sons, Kelly Coleman of Scotland Neck and Scott Hales of Goldsboro; and four grandchildren, Blane Murphy, Tiffany Megan Hales, Irina Henson, and Tyler Hales.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at Letchworth Funeral Home in Scotland Neck.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Nash General Hospital, 2460 Curtis Ellis Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
