Howard “Kenny” Boyd, 67, passed away at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center on Saturday, September 10, 2016, after a two-year battle with lung cancer.  

He was a veteran of the US Army, serving 4 years.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Boyd; daughter, Kathy Boyd; son, Howard K. Boyd Jr.; numerous siblings; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

There will be a memorial service at a later date.
