Frank Ellisworth Hanson Jr., formerly of Washington, North Carolina, went to be with the Lord August 29, 2016. Born Feb. 10, 1940 in Kansas City, Missouri, to Frank and Mary Hanson Sr. He is survived by current wife Effie. Our memories will be cherished by his former wife Joan Hanson, mother of his children: Milissa (Brian) Hartman, Frank (Candis) Hanson III, John (Karon) Hanson, Diana (Bill) Wheatly; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Dad, we’ll miss your calls to tell us what snow storm or hurricane was heading our way. That was his “I love you” to us.
