Some of the youth of the Purpose of God Annex summer program dream to be veterinarians one day. Five of the students made a special visit to the Pamlico Animal Hospital in Washington. The kids were given a special tour around the hospital by Dr. Inken Van Cura (DVM). Pictured (left to right) are Steven Jones Jr., Joseph McKinney, Cameron Mackey, Van Cura, Riley Barrow and Michael Waters. Van Cura showed them different types of X-rays they take of the pets, shared her life experiences with her own pets and even let the kids see and pet some of the animals. The children were also able to interact with a puppy at the animal hospital. The Purpose of God Annex would like to thank the doctors and staff of the Pamlico Animal Hospital for creating a safe and happy place for our youth.
