On Thursday evening, hundreds of Beaufort County residents came out to the Cypress Landing Golf Club to honor cancer survivors and/or loved ones who passed away from the disease. Participants could walk 3 miles starting at 6 p.m. or 1.3 miles starting at 6:15 p.m. to raise money for the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center. The event also included a pizza party and entertainment by Never 2 Late.
