On Sept. 15, Beaufort County Community College hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new classroom space at the Davis Youth Center in Engelhard. College officials and representatives from various organizations were present, including Hyde County Board of Commissioners, Greater Hyde County Chamber of Commerce, Northeastern Workforce Development Board and BHM Regional Library. The Davis Center location will host classes such as defensive driving, gardening, keyboarding and small business courses.
