Clinton “Red” Dawson, 69, a resident of 10140 NC US HWY 17 N., Vanceboro, NC died Friday, September 16, 2016 at CarolinaEast Medical Center in New Bern.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Queen Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 216 Bailey Lane, Vanceboro, NC.

Burial will follow in the Dawson Family Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 PM until 6 PM with the family present to receive friends from 5 PM until 6 PM Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Funeral Home Chapel. At other times, the family will receive friends at 504 Maul Swamp Road, Vanceboro, where they will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
