The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for western Beaufort County until 7:30 p.m.

At 6:42 p.m., a strong thunderstorm was located near Greenville moving northwest at 15 mph.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm and may cause localized flooding. Do not drive a vehicle through flooded roadways.
