Cody Lee Hodges, 14, of Chocowinity, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016.  Cody was born on October 20, 2001 in Pitt County to Stephanie Lee Lewis and Johnny Ray Hodges. He was in the 8^th grade at Chocowinity Middle School.

He is survived by his mother Stephanie Lee Lewis and her fiancé Donald; his father Johnny Ray Hodges and his wife Amanda; his sisters: Brittney Elaine Campbell and Cora Nicole Hodges; his brothers Jeffrey Wayne Campbell and Mason Dale Hester; his maternal grandparents Patty and Barry McCalister and his paternal grandparents Hilda and Bobby Hodges.

A Celebration of Cody’s life will be held 6:30 PM on Thursday, October 27, 2016 in Washington Assembly of God with Reverends Daniel Haskett and Nelson Koonce officiating. The family will receive friends before the service in the Family Life Center of the church from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 28, 2016 in Oakdale Cemetery.
