St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Bath started a new program, Angels Read, with second-grade students at Bath Elementary School this year. A parishioner from St. Thomas shared a chapter of the book, “Pirate Ghosts,” with each class. Students were then given their own copy of the book, so they could finish reading the mystery about Red Beard and Snake Eyes.  Students were thrilled with their own books and could be found reading throughout the classrooms.
