Amanda Pollard (left), with Walgreen’s, gives Kellie Harris Hopkins, elections director for Beaufort County, a flu shot Friday in the parking lot at the Beaufort Count Board of Elections. Voters who show up at the board’s office today from 7:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. or at the Chocowinity precinct from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day may obtain flu shots, too. Pollard said Walgreen accepts insurance for the shots, or it will issue a free voucher if a voter is not insured.
