Hyde’s Octagon House will hold its traditional Christmas Open House on Sunday, Dec. 11, from 2-4 p.m. Come, see and enjoy the festively-decorated circa-1857 eight-sided historic house, one of two such antebellum houses in North Carolina. 

A highlight of this year’s event will be holiday musical selections played by Robert Waters, a noted area musician, who will be playing the dulcimer. There is no admission fee and all are welcome.
