The World Help Organization is a group of Rotary Clubs — mostly Canadian — which started in 1992. A Canadian club joined forces with a group in Kiev to start a Ukrainian Rotary Club. Since then they have grown in membership and support to make a difference in the world. They have sent over 300 containers of needed food and equipment, around $300,000 each, to some 57 countries. Those containers have assisted over 9 million people around the world — including the Philippine victims of Typhoon Haiyan. The total value to date of their assistance is over $106 million.
