Claudia June Daniels Horton

Claudia June Daniels Horton, 84, of 107 East Main Street in Plymouth, passed away Friday, December 30, 2016. Ms. Horton was born on June 15, 1932 in Roper to Nellie Oliver and Luke Daniels, and she was the widow of the late Jack Horton.
Surviving include her son Tommy Horton and his fiancé Anita Sullivan of Washington, her daughter Carlla Mathias and her husband Jay of Goodyear, AZ, her sister Doris Radwick of Plymouth, her brother Douglas Daniels of Atlanta, GA, her grandchildren: Brian Underdown and his wife Signa of Goodyear, AZ, Blake Horton and his wife Kimberly of Bear Grass, Greg Cherry and his wife Susan of Vanceboro, Nicole Cherry Hewitt and her husband Chris of Greenville, Brian Cherry of Washington, April Luke Ballance of Chocowinity, and Brenton Luke of Plymouth, and her friend Allison Raper Hennasey of Stanton and 19 great-grandchildren.
Ms. Horton was also preceded in death by her grandson Michael Cherry, her daughter Debbie Tate, her sisters Peggy Van Dorp and Barbara Norman, and her brothers Wayne Daniels and David Daniels.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 in Grace Episcopal Church Cemetery in Plymouth with Reverend John Sellars officiating. The family received friends at her home on Sunday, January 1, 2017 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
