The financial services firm Edward Jones recently was named the No. 7 company on the “Best Employers in North Carolina” ranking, according to the six Beaufort County Edward Jones financial advisors.

Business North Carolina magazine teamed up with the Best Companies Group of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to rank the state’s top 45 employers. Companies named “Best Employers in North Carolina” for 2016 were divided into 20 large companies and 20 medium and small companies based on the number of people they employ in North Carolina.

The ranking was based on an employer inventory of practices and an anonymous survey of employees, who were asked to agree or disagree with dozens of statements about the firm, teamwork and their individual experience at the firm. For four consecutive years, Edward Jones has ranked in the top seven “Best Employers in North Carolina.”

Beaufort County financial advisors include: Kelly O. Crisp, Rod Cantrell, Roy Parker, Stuart O’Neal, Jordan Cantrell and Mike Goodwin.
